One Dress, Many Outfits

 

I purchased this plain navy blue and white striped dress from H&M over the summer for about $12 and only wore it a few times. I thought of a couple ways I could transition this completely summery dress into one i can wear right now and during the spring.

-Sheer tights: Calvin Klein (best tights ever..they never rip!)

-Studded belt: Forever 21

-Boyfriend Blazer: Target

-Leather Jacket: Romeo and Juliet Couture

-Cardigan: Michael Kors

-Black Quilted Bag: Zara

-Camel Slouch Bag: Nordstroms BP

GOSSIP GIRL OOTD

Other than the gorgeous people and great drama on the show, their style is SO CUTE, and SO MY STYLE....so after i picked my outfit i realized how similar it looked to serena's style on the show...i've been loving wearing black knee high socks under my black boots with shear tights underneath....

NEW MAKEUP

So recently i've been shopping around for some new makeup and i have created a list of some new purchases i will be making this weekend...

1. Bare escentuals spf 15 foundation...i tried it on this weekend and it makes my face look SO airbrushed and gorgeous and i love the idea of getting to be able to wear blush again

2. Nars Laguna bronzer....i'm running low on my mac bronzer and this one looks great/ not orange on my skin tone

3. Mac 'sketch' eyeshadow...a very dark purple that for my outer crease and to line my eye

4. Nars highlighter in albatross

Hello My Dear...

Hey everyone!

I haven't been able to blog for a while now due to the fact that my computer broke and is currently being repaired. I'm still waiting for it to get fixed, and in the meantime, I don't really have anyway to post :( Here are a few pictures I managed to take on my cell phone of a few outfits from the past couple days. On my nails I have one of my favorites, Essie's 'Lilacism.' I wanted to switch it up a bit since I have been constantly wearing dark, plain nail colors for the winter, so on my ring fingers, I added silver glitter stripes and I really love how it turned out.

Hopefully I will get my laptop back soon so  I can do some of the proper posts I have planned :D

NARS TURKISH DELIGHT

Okay...so i've tried MANY lip-glosses in my day, and they all are nice, but nothing compares to my new lipgloss. It's called turkish delight by Nars. My good friend Madison uses this color and got me hooked. It's Kim Kardashian's favorite color and now i know why! It is such a flattering color. It is a very soft baby pink and it is NOT sticky and uncomfortable....It has a very luminous shine and creates a really beautiful tone to my skin. I'm sure it looks great on all skin tones and i think you guys should check it out!

KNEE HIGHS

Whether they be knee high boots or socks, i absolutely LOVE what they do for my body. They are very trendy and make my legs look stunninng. They are a big fall 2010 trend and are extremely versatile. I wear kneed high socks under my over the knee back suede boots and they look super adorable. I also love wearing my boots with tights and skirts/dresses.

I have been loving  unique and inspirational jewelry and lately I have found myself wearing several bracelets at once and layering them for a really cool look. As a holiday gift, i received the Michal Kors double wrap leather bracelet with gold studs, and i absolutely love the effect it gives any outfit. Layering rings and stacking rings has also been catching my eye, but since i think wearing more than one ring at a time is annoying, i can never last through the day without taking off my rings. Oh well!
